No Light at the End of the Recording Tunnel

Somehow No News feels so bad...
There is very little news on when things will be finished. It is frustrating to know that the band has some of the best material of their career (Cab Assassin or Lou Albino) half finished with no end in sight. Their previous effort "Losing All Affiliations" is often cited as the best work in their decade spanning catalogue - the new material takes their music to the next level and is something that each member is extremely proud of. Rob's getting in on the writing process makes it seem like more of a collaboration of minds, not just Rob playing drums to some of Steve and Brad's songs.
So what is finished? Drum tracks for about 75% of their material. Steve has finished his bass and guitar parts for a dozen songs, with another dozen to be finished in the next couple of weeks. Brad has only recorded parts to three songs and vocals will be done after everything else.
We don't know exactly when recording will resume, but we can tell you that for the rest of the summer, each band member will be busy with other musical and personal commitments (Steve is participating in a new Grit Scrimmage project and will continue jamming more songs with Rob on guitar, Brad has been playing acoustic north pole shows and is getting married in September).
We plan to establish and follow a regular practice/recording schedule in September after Brad's wedding. Don't look for the next release from the band to hit the streets until October.
